Karen Bruno

Karen Bruno is the Director of Indigenization at EndPovertyEdmonton.

She is Cree from the Maskwacis Band, and has been a longtime manager for social services within the inner city.

Karen says "I'm proud to be able to be my true relational Indigenous self and bring forward the knowledge I have learned, earned and lived. Knowledge which also comes from our people who struggle. Our struggles will not be in vain. I feel humbled and honored.
