Angela Ferguson

Angela is the Vice President, Indigenous Services Group. She is responsible for overseeing the Indigenous Services Group’s work across the country. She works closely with Account Executives and brokers ensuring all of our Indigenous client needs are met. Operationally Angela oversees and delivers on Indigenous specific initiatives from a local, regional and National scale.

From drafting Land Acknowledgements for Aon staff to utilize meeting with the Head of HR on discussions around increasing the recruitment and retention rates for Indigenous employees at Aon, Angela’s work is meaningful in that she works to move the dial forward in a positive way for Indigenous people and communities.

Angela’s expertise stems from focusing her career over the last 20+ years on Indigenous social and economic development. From working for two levels of government then transitioning into working in an Indigenous space with two major financial institutions, Angela has focused her career on establishing and building excellent working relationships with Indigenous people and communities.
